Sheniqua Mitchell is a lived experienced expert, who has overcome unimaginable obstacles, and is compelled to use her gifts and platforms to rescue and protect the rights and the freedoms of diverse groups of people. Sheniqua is a licensed social worker, who holds a master’s degree in advanced clinical social work with a concentration in individuals, couples and families. Additionally, this social worker is a published author, and community faith leader who thrives best when serving others. Sheniqua brings fifteen years as an educationalist for several schools in the city of New York.
As the former Outreach Manager at Bloom for Women she fearlessly and compassionately served survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. She specializes in working with women & men in crisis, who have survived human trafficking, sexual exploitation and domestic violence. Additionally, she has extensive experience working with the “unhoused” population in the community as well as homeless encampments through intensive case management, crisis intervention and response services alongside community organizations. Finally, Sheniqua is an addictions therapist where she provides individual and group therapy to adults and adolescents fighting addiction.
Sheniqua's motivation to serve the community is attributed to her strong faith, passion and zeal to see others overcome. She currently serves as assistant director of United Wells of Rehoboth, a non- profit serving the community of RVA . She is the Apostolic covering of Rhema Now International Ministries. Based on her own testimony she has learned that RECOVERY is possible. Sheniqua has committed her life to supporting those on the journey to healing, restoration and redemption. She is often heard saying, “Get me in the rooms, and I will flip tables and take the seats for righteousness”.
